[Sora briefly scans the room, noting the temperature and what Tsuki has set out for a seat. Eventually he does so, but if the faces flashing across his screen are anything for the spider to go by... the robot will seem between a mix of annoyed and wary.]

I can tell you weren't planning for this to be casual one about how my day's been or something.

[There's a lone stool. Tsukikage prefers to stand anyway. The man merely stares at Sora with all his eyes, keeping his emotions behind a veil himself.]

You follow the Fourth. Why? Did Reira-dono convince you?

Not exactly.

[Treating the matter with the weight it deserves rather making light of it.]

I joined at the time because it seemed like the only option to deal with my other form... that wasn't just waiting around until the next fog and hoping for the best.

[As Sora demonstrated and explained after his incident, he was "partially" aware within the robeast form.]

Wasn't a decision I would've made lightly, but apparently that's what can happen when one of the Fourth's monsters eats a few of your memories.

I see... [Well... he can't be mad at that. Disappointed, because he did vouch for Sora saying he wouldn't follow a god and he could be trusted, but not mad. This was the same reason he allowed Reira to keep following the Fourth in the first place. He wondered if things would be different if he had been stronger...]

That incident... you made this decision while some of your memories were gone?

I did. Of course like everyone else's after that incident, they came back. So sure, I could have snapped that card in two and put it behind me...

[Said so sugary sweetly that clearly the little robot brat has to be up to something.]

Sometimes it's better to work in plain sight than it is from the shadows.

... Do you think you'll be able to keep that facade up?

He is a 'god' of this world. You haven't done anything to this degree before? And I doubt he'll trust you until you 'prove' something to him.

All that power the Fourth has doesn't make him less of a kid either, as far as we've seen. Which is the one of only things we can trust as being consistent from him.

[A far larger scaled task with even bigger consequences should he ultimately slip-up, but obviously the risk won't stop Sora from rising to the challenge.]

I'm not afraid of whatever I might need to do to prove myself.

[So Sora wants to play double-agent again. This time Tsukikage does allow the emotion to come to his face. Worry. He's worried for Sora, as much as he trusts him. It is a very dangerous mission.]

Which is why I'm concerned. Often proving loyalty gives way into being loyal to that person. [You should know that well, Sora.]

Considering my own track record, I think that's the least you have to worry about. Not even Academia could keep me tied down enough, obviously.

... It's not Academia that I was thinking that would tie you down.

I was thinking the comparison would be closer to Yuya and Yuzu. [In that case, your track record isn't great]

Unlike Reira, I won't throwing myself at his feet. She thinks he's so great and we don't know anything about him besides his supposed motives and the results of everything he's done.

And as long as I have this card, you can trust me to keep an eye on her in places you can't and shouldn't go.

... That's true. I hope you are more cautious with your assessment of him... and you feel free to talk to me if your opinion of him changes.

[He looks at the card that Sora's been holding and he sighs, shaking his head] Please... For all I can do, I can't protect her from him. Look after her... please.

... And if you can... help me find out what he is.

[Such a serious mission and commitment to promise on gets more than just a completely serious nod.]

[And that's all Tsukikage needs. He visibly relaxes there and then, letting emotion return to his body and his face. He nods back at Sora, his partner, now that he's accepted the mission.]

... Do you need anything to help you in there?

Would you like anything? [He has no idea how good Sora is with weapons outside of Duel Disks but he has good hand-to-hand combat skills.]

Hmmm? What are you trying to do, offer me a weapon or a drink?

[Not that he didn't catch what Tsukikage actually meant by his offer, but the spider still made it come off in that fashion. And it's amusing.]

[Tsukikage smirks underneath his mask but doesn't respond to that. Actions speak louder than words, after all. He makes Sora known to what he does in his spare hours that he doesn't spend napping, taking care of the kids or working.

He jumps up to the ceiling to where huge metal drawers have been built into the ceiling and he opens them. The drawers open downwards, descending down towards the ground like bannisters. The drawers stuffed tightly with cloth in order to preserve the weapons inside and keep them from falling out. Since Tsukikage did do an inventory check the other day, he managed to find the weapons he was unhappy with and had melted them down. While there is only one sword there, it seems a lot sturdier than the other blades littered around the home. However, Tsukikage takes out a small dagger with silver plating, as well as a number of small capsules.]

You have second priority to my forge, Sora. You're free to use what you'd like. [Tsukikage flips back onto the ground.] I recommend this if you need to fight someone up close and personal. It'll help against unfriendly monsters. I'm working on a salt variation to this.

[Sora accepts the offered dagger and tests how it feels in his hand. It's a significant step up from typically unwieldy pairs of scissors, but certainly the sort of weapon he'd prefer.]

[He gives a small smile.] The capsules are smoke bombs. I imagine you'll have fun with those.

I'm sure I'll find them just as useful as you do.

How exactly do you make these, anyway? Or is that a trade secret? [Hah, ninja jokes.]

I did make my first one with traditional ninja techniques, but the ones you're holding aren't a trade secret. A little gun powder, magnesium powder, sugar, a few snapping rocks and a bit of salt. The salt isn't super necessary but I really dislike demons.
